Sky Q Wi-Fi Guide

Reduce interference between Sky Q equipment and your router.

Open the Sky Q engineer menu

  1. Highlight Settings without opening it.
  2. Press 0 0 1, then press Select.
  3. Open the network settings.
  4. Reduce the 5 GHz channel width to 40 MHz.
  5. Try channels 36, 40 or 44 to find the least congested option.
Best result

Connect the main Sky Q box and Mini boxes using Ethernet wherever possible. System updates may restore default settings, so the adjustment might need to be repeated.
